Seminars

One of the main activities in MASSIVE was the celebration of 7 seminars to validate and disseminate the model of peer review developed and put into practice during the project.

These seminars were divided into "validation" and "dissemination and sustainability" seminars.

The first 3 validation seminars took place in Barcelona, Budapest and Vienna and explored the situation of ICT integration in traditional Universities. These were designed to make interact the involved HE experts and analyse their feedback so as to translate the results into better implementation of the peer review model.

The following 3 seminars took place in Granada, Rome and Edinburgh and were designed to better understand and disseminate the Massive model at a nationa level.

Finally, the 7th seminar took place in Brussels and was designed to disseminate the results of MASSIVE to key EU experts, to present good practices that may inspire the sustainability of the project and build on action lines (such as the UNIQUE project or the participation of the MASSIVE service as part of the EFQUEL Foundation activities) to continue with the activities after the project lifespan.

All seminars were intended for senior staff and policy makers in higher education institutions and funding agencies concerned with e-learning, learning and teaching, organisational development, or quality enhancement.
